Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Curtis Crews (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dana Fertitta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Crews comes into the arena with Regulate-Warren G Feat. Nate Dogg blaring out of the sound system. Fertitta is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Frontline - Pillar. Curtis Crews had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 171.7lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Daniel Franklin and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crews throws a sloppy head kick and Fertitta moves out of range easily.
Crews lands a two punch combo.
It looks like Dana Fertitta has been cut.
Fertitta will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Fertitta looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Fertitta trying to control the position from guard on top but Crews is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Crews rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Fertitta moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Crews is breathing heavily.

Fertitta fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Crews sprawls well initially but Fertitta persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Crews knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Fertitta on the ground.

Fertitta is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Crews has managed to free his arm - good work.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Crews wants to improve his position but Fertitta is controlling well.

Fertitta is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Crews has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Fertitta lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Fertitta postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Crews looks a forlorn figure.
Crews is wriggling around trying to escape.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Crews is looking to improve his position but Fertitta isn't that keen on the idea.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Crews swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Crews throws a right and a left that Fertitta avoids nicely.
Fertitta shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Crews as he jumps to the side.
Fertitta avoids the head kick by Crews.
Crews lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Fertitta is rocked!

Fertitta slips a jab and a cross from Crews.
Fertitta is still on wobbly legs! Can Crews finish him?
Crews lands a monster head kick that reverborates around the arena! The crowd goes wild as Fertitta crumples to the floor! Crews milks the crowd's applause and if that isn't knockout of the night, I will be very surprised!
