Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
de Bakker throws a head kick but Staszewski moves out of range.
de Bakker shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Staszewski defends it nicely.
de Bakker fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
de Bakker slips a jab and a cross from Staszewski.
Staszewski rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but de Bakker moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
de Bakker fails with an attempt to clinch.
Staszewski lands with a kick to the temple. de Bakker shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

It looks like Jimmy de Bakker has been cut.
The fight stays on the outside here - de Bakker looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Staszewski keeps the fight on the outside.
Jimmy de Bakker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

de Bakker is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jimmy de Bakker. That's going to take a lot out of him.

de Bakker has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Staszewski is trying to keep an underhook but de Bakker manages to get the takedown into half guard.

Staszewski pushes de Bakker off and gets back to his feet.
Staszewski throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
de Bakker tries for a takedown but Staszewski sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
de Bakker is breathing heavily.

A jab-cross combination lands for Staszewski and sends de Bakker crashing to the mat! Staszewski follows him down to the mat - de Bakker regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!

This has been an exciting period of action!
Staszewski lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt de Bakker quite badly. de Bakker pulls Staszewski in close trying to recover. Staszewski postures up and lands two really hard shots that put de Bakker on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but de Bakker doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
