The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ribeiro throws a leg kick but Prokopos sees it coming and moves out of range.
Ribeiro throws a chopping leg kick but Prokopos manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Ribeiro throws a nice looking combination but Prokopos bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Prokopos tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Ribeiro swivels and escapes.
Ribeiro misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Ribeiro fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Prokopos is out of range.
Prokopos scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
Ribeiro is trying to get back to his feet.
Prokopos is looking to take a break and control but Ribeiro is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Prokopos thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Prokopos wants to control but Ribeiro is keeping him busy.
Prokopos happy to just control the position for now.
Prokopos has hold of Ribeiro's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Ribeiro tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Prokopos cranks the arm and Ribeiro screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Ribeiro, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
