The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fernandez scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Fernandez uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Kane has time to react.
Kane shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Fernandez pinned against the cage. Fernandez gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Fernandez works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Fernandez ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Kane walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Kane fails with a takedown attempt.

Fernandez throws a nice looking combination but Kane bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Fernandez fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Kane on the side of the head.

Fernandez lands with a massive overhand right! Stick a fork in Kane - he's out cold! Ermm... I think I just mixed my metaphors but yeah... That was a nice KO! Big win for Fernandez!
