Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marko Lecic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jarno Puukko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jarno Puukko is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lecic clobbers Puukko with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

It looks like Jarno Puukko has been cut.

Lecic lands with a nice body punch.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Lecic's corner calls for a 1-2. Lecic obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Puukko has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Lecic finds it's way round the side to connect with Puukko's head.

Lecic cracks Puukko with an uppercut from hell and Puukko crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Lecic's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

That has opened up Jarno Puukko's cut even more.
Puukko misses with a series of wild punches.
Puukko looks to throw the jab but Lecic is out of range.

Lecic shoots in and bounces Puukko off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Lecic lands a nice short elbow.
