Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Joe Davis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gabriel Alexander (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Joe Davis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Gabriel Alexander!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Nard Betker and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alexander misses with a two punch combination.
Alexander is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Davis misses with a looping left.
Alexander misses with a double jab.
Davis stalks Alexander and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Alexander's face. Alexander staggers backwards, shaken.
Alexander uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Davis.
Davis takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Davis lands with a shot to the body.
Alexander tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
A looping hook to the body misses from Davis. Alexander does a little dance to reset his feet.
Alexander is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Davis waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Alexander.
Alexander drops his hands momentarily and Davis takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Davis misses with a double jab
and Alexander counters with a left and a right that stings Davis.
Davis throws a right and a left that Alexander avoids nicely.
Alexander looks to land a right hand but Davis moved out of range.
A combination from Davis does no damage.
Alexander throws a wild body kick that Davis sees coming a mile off.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Alexander misses with a double jab
and Alexander takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Alexander throws a push kick but Davis slaps the foot to one side.
Davis keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Davis throws a left and a right that both miss
and Alexander counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Davis is lucky that one didn't land flush.
Davis listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Alexander is rocked!
Alexander throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Davis.
Alexander lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Davis circles away quickly and effectively.
Davis jabs Alexander right on the nose. Alexander blinks but takes it well.
Alexander is still on wobbly legs! Can Davis finish him?
Alexander scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Davis throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Alexander stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Alexander looks gassed!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Alexander takes a body punch but keeps moving.
A big right followed by a crushing left from Davis knocks Alexander out cold! Ouch - that one's going to be featured in highlight reels for years to come!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Joe Davis!
