Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Riley Daniel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Troy Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Daniel might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Red Hot Chili Peppers - Don't Forget Me. Troy Jackson has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Daniel shoots in for a takedown but Jackson shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Jackson throws a leg kick which misses Daniel's front leg but catches the back leg as Daniel tries to avoid it.
A left and a right from Daniel both land. Nice combination.

Daniel looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Daniel seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Jackson does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
