Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Antonio Medici (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bruce Brentwood (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Medici's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, "Aerials" by System of a Down. Bruce Brentwood told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Medici thows a body shot but no joy.
Brentwood rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Medici moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Brentwood.

Medici fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Brentwood manages to avoid it.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Brentwood closes the distance and clinches up with Medici, looking for a takedown. Brentwood pushes Medici against the cage but Medici circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Brentwood shoots in for a takedown but Medici shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Brentwood shoots in for a double leg but Medici sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Antonio Medici has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bruce Brentwood.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Medici moves in close and cracks Brentwood with a massive right hand! Brentwood, frozen momentarily in time, tumbles to the canvas, already out cold! A brutal knockout by Medici!
