Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 8 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Alexander osth!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jenghis Skywalker!
The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Igor Prikhodko and Ivan Kurochkin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Skywalker throws a sloppy head kick and osth moves out of range easily.
osth stuffs the takedown attempt from Skywalker. Skywalker gets slowly back to his feet.
osth throws a right and a left that both miss.
Skywalker is looking to clinch.
osth circles away from the clinch attempt.
Skywalker tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Skywalker tries to clinch but osth is having none of it.
Skywalker is looking to clinch.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Skywalker wants to stall.
osth lands a hook that snaps the head of Skywalker backwards.
osth is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Skywalker is defending well for now.
Skywalker is trying to break the clinch but osth has him pressed against the cage.
osth is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Skywalker gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
osth gets control of Skywalker's arms and successfully pulls guard. osth will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
osth is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
osth decides to return to a standing position.

osth throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Skywalker's waist but Skywalker gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing osth off to one side.

and osth counters with a nice double leg into guard.
osth decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
osth misses with a jab, cross combination.
Skywalker ducks right into an uppercut from osth.

and osth counters with a single leg into guard. Skywalker didn't expect that.
Skywalker preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.

osth stands up from Skywalker's guard - osth perhaps looking for a knockout.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Skywalker looks to clinch
and osth counters with a nice double leg into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
osth wants to control from the top but Skywalker keeps moving.
osth thows a big elbow that misses.
osth slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Alexander osth.
osth moves into range and clinches up with Skywalker.
A short right hand to the side of the head by osth.
Skywalker tries a knee to the head but osth blocks it.
Skywalker throws an elbow that misses.
osth pulls guard.
osth not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Skywalker must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now osth is on top in guard.
Skywalker looks gassed!
osth trying to control the position from guard on top but Skywalker is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
osth in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Skywalker closes the distance but osth moves to the side
and osth counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
osth drops back, looking for a kneebar! Skywalker looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Skywalker looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Skywalker!
osth is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
osth has his hands clasped together around Skywalker's back. He's all about the action.

Skywalker tries to stand but his arm is trapped.
osth trying to hold on to Skywalker's head to control him but Skywalker postures up.
osth is trying is best to control the position here.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
osth is trying to maintain the position but Skywalker is very close to passing his half guard.
osth is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.
Skywalker is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
osth moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Skywalker is breathing heavily.

osth throwing shots but missing, from side control.
osth content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
Alexander osth overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
osth advances to full mount.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!
Skywalker wants to clinch
and osth counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Skywalker!
osth is looking to work his way around to Skywalker's back. He needs to be careful though, as he's in danger of losing this dominant position.
osth looking to secure an arm triangle but Skywalker defends it well.
Skywalker trying desperately to get to his feet.
Skywalker really doesn't want to stay on the ground with osth. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
osth works his way to his opponent's back.

Skywalker takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

osth throwing wild punches that miss their target.
osth is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.

osth is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Skywalker defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.
osth goes for a risky armbar from back mount and it's not paid off. Skywalker escapes and is now in half guard on top.
It looks like Skywalker is going to stand back up.
Alexander osth is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
osth has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Skywalker is working away from the top position though.
osth is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Well osth has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
