The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sanderson shoots in but no luck this time.

That was a close round but I would say that Jackson Sanderson will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!



Sanderson throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Dmitrejv was covering up waiting for the punch and Sanderson finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Sanderson is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Sanderson drops back, looking for a kneebar! Dmitrejv looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Dmitrejv looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Dmitrejv!
Sanderson tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Sanderson feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Jackson Sanderson.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Sanderson, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
