The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bobo looking for a takedown here - he's got it.

meggeson looking for a guillotine here but Bobo defends easily.
Bobo stops meggeson from standing up.
Bobo postures up and lands a big shot to meggeson's brow.
Bobo is looking to work some ground and pound but meggeson has wrist control.
meggeson preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
meggeson is pulling down on Bobo's head. It's preventing any offense from Bobo, at least for the moment.
meggeson will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
meggeson wants to stand up but Bobo is controlling him.
Bobo is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Bobo will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
meggeson won't allow Bobo to pass to mount.
meggeson manages to get to full guard.

Bobo might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control meggeson kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Bobo accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

meggeson really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

meggeson decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

and Bobo decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in meggeson's guard.

Bobo is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but meggeson has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Bobo is looking to defend but meggeson has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Bobo! meggeson pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Bobo taps out and this one is all over!
