Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kenneth Paul (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cesar Guevara (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Guevara has chosen Chrispy - Inspector Gadget Dubstep as his entrance music. Cesar Guevara will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Guevara shoots in but Paul avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Guevara avoids the head kick by Paul.
Paul fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Guevara avoids it really well and circles away.
Paul circles away from the clinch attempt.
Paul looks to clinch
and Guevara counters with a left to the body.
Guevara feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Paul's calf.
Paul misses with a jab to the body
and Guevara counters with a head kick. That will keep Paul thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
Guevara misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Paul throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Guevara's waist but Guevara gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Paul off to one side.
Paul moves in looking to clinch but Guevara pushes him off.

Guevara forces Paul back against the cage and clinches.
Paul jumps guard but Guevara stands there with Paul around his waist. Paul gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Guevara's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

and Guevara counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Paul avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

and Paul counters with a straight punch to the midsection.

Guevara shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Paul pinned against the cage. Paul gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

and Guevara counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Guevara.
Guevara is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Paul has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
A frustrated look appears on Paul's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Guevara fails to pull guard.

Guevara manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

Paul wants to control from the top but Guevara keeps moving.
Paul might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Paul postures up in Guevara's guard and throws a big left but Guevara blocks it.
Guevara controls Paul momentarily but Paul frees himself.
Paul would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Guevara wants to get back to his feet but Paul is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Guevara tries to bum rush Paul with a series of wild strikes but Paul uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

and Guevara counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Guevara tries to lock up and control but Paul gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Paul can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Guevara is looking to escape.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Paul thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Paul trying to control but Guevara is having none of it.
Guevara is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Poor strikes thrown by Paul there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

Paul seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Guevara does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Guevara wants to stand and escape but Paul is having none of it.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Paul throws a combination that misses

and Guevara moves into the clinch.
Paul is trying to drag Guevara to the mat but Guevara just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Guevara is looking to control Paul's arms but Paul gets an underhook and turns him. Now Guevara has his back to the cage.

Paul pulls guard.
Guevara tries to stand but Paul is controlling from the bottom.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Kenneth Paul will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Paul throws a jab but it's blocked by Guevara.

Paul shoots in for a takedown but Guevara shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Paul bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Paul wants to stand but Guevara has his arm trapped.

Guevara might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Paul kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Paul slips a nice elbow through Guevara's hands, connecting with Guevara's forehead.

Paul stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Guevara to get to his feet.
Paul shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Guevara as he jumps to the side.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Guevara moves in looking to clinch but Paul pushes him off.
Paul throws a combination that misses
and Guevara counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Paul thinking.
Guevara tries to clinch up but Paul circles away and keeps his distance.
Guevara leaves Paul with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Guevara goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Guevara connects with a looping right hand.

Cesar Guevara comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Guevara has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
