Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Chito Hua (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jan Modaal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Modaal comes into a darkened arena with his song building. damage plan - new found power kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Chito Hua could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Jan Modaal's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Chito Hua!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jan Modaal!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Steve Erwin and Summer Carpenter.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hua blocks a low kick nicely.
The fight stays on the outside here - Hua looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Modaal stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Modaal wants it to stay on the feet.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Hua.

Hua shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Hua closes the distance and clinches up with Modaal, looking for a takedown. Hua pushes Modaal against the cage but Modaal circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Modaal got a little sloppy there for a moment and Hua has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Modaal has managed to get both his arms back between Hua's legs - danger averted.

Well Modaal has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
