Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kenta Tottori!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Gavin Jr!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Hirohito Nitta and Sosuke Kotani.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Tottori shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Jr's guard.
Jr working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Tottori.
Tottori stands up over Jr, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Jr is trying to control the position but Tottori postures up.
Jr really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Tottori. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Tottori wants to pass the guard but Jr is keeping the position.
Tottori missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Tottori trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Tottori postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Tottori is looking to work some ground and pound but Jr has wrist control.
Tottori preventing the sweep.
Jr not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Jr should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Tottori moves out of range as Jr throws a body kick.
Jr tries to clinch but Tottori moves out of range.

Tottori pushes Jr up against the cage in a clinch.

Tottori turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
Jr taking a bit of punishment here - Tottori scoring with strikes.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Jr on the wrong end of some ground and pound.
Jr is looking for a sweep.
Tottori cracks Jr with a big elbow.
Tottori working the head with strikes.
Jr is trying to improve his position.

Tottori is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Jr knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
You can see the frustration on Jr's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Tottori is putting a hurting on Jr here, landing some big shots from side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Tottori has hold of Jr's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Jr seems comfortable defending it but Tottori has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Jr is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Jr is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Tottori couldn't care less - he's delighted!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Kenta Tottori!
