The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dali drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Dali won't allow Coxwell to get back to his feet.
Dali trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Dali is working hard here to advance position.
Coxwell lands a couple of shots from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Dali pushes down on Coxwell's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Dali moves into full mount! Coxwell won't be happy about that!
Coxwell is in all sorts of trouble here.
Coxwell tries to lock up and control but Dali gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Dali jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Coxwell is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Coxwell and Dali has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Dali wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Coxwell, who protects the arm well.
Coxwell gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Coxwell trying to control but Dali postures up.

Coxwell gets full guard.
Coxwell trying to keep a closed guard but Dali is proving a slippery customer.
Coxwell looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Dali takes a decent strike to the side of the head.
Dali won't allow Coxwell to get back to his feet.
Dali advances position into side control!
Coxwell tries to buck Dali off but Dali is having none of it.

Dali thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Dali tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Dali is breathing heavily.
Dali prevents Coxwell from escaping the position.
Coxwell throwing some weak shots from the bottom that do no damage.

Dali tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.

Dali is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Coxwell is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Coxwell manages to get back to half guard.
The fighters are battling for position here. Coxwell manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Coxwell tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Dali has gone for a leg lock! Coxwell slips out almost immediately though and dives into Dali's guard.
Coxwell passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Dali is looking to regain half guard here but Coxwell keeps moving and retains side control.
Coxwell connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Dali some visible discomfort.
Dali tries to bench press Coxwell off him but Coxwell keeps the position.
Dali sneaks back into half guard.

Coxwell tries to pass the half guard into mount. Dali knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Dali looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Dali makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Dali.
Coxwell connects with a couple of short punches.

Dali throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Coxwell throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Dali works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dali looking to hit a scissor sweep but Coxwell is one step ahead there.
Dali is trying to keep Coxwell in close.

Coxwell is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Dali has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Coxwell is looking to defend but Dali has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Coxwell! Dali pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Coxwell taps out and this one is all over!
