Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jimy Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gavin Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Jimy Jones has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Jimy Jones seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jones moves into the clinch.
Jr has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Jones is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Jones is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Jr gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Jones pulls guard effortlessly.
Jones is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Jones is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Jr is controlling him.
Jr is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Jones dives in and grabs Jr's left leg, looking for a takedown. Jr pushes down on Jones's head and hops out.

Jr tries to clinch up but Jones circles away and keeps his distance.
Jones shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Jr pinned against the cage. Jr gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

That was a close round but I would say that Jimy Jones will probably get the nod.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Jones is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Jr's half guard.

Jones wants to stand up but Jr has a hold of him and won't allow it.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Jones jumps guard and drags Jr to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Jones, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
