The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Emilianenko shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Kent as he jumps to the side.
Kent lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.

It looks like Fedor Emilianenko has been cut.
Kent lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Emilianenko changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kent tries to avoid it but Emilianenko manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kent to the ground. Kent escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Emilianenko tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Kent will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Emilianenko fails with the takedown.
Bruce Kent has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Fedor Emilianenko.
Emilianenko tries to close the distance and clinch but Kent swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

A frustrated look appears on Emilianenko's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Kent makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.

Kent breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Emilianenko fails to land the takedown.
Emilianenko tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Kent swivels and escapes.
Kent works over Emilianenko's head and body with a nice combination.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Kent forces Emilianenko back against the cage and clinches.

Kent's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

The cut above Fedor Emilianenko's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

Fedor Emilianenko's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Kent fails to land with a series of punches.
