Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Collin Ferreria (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mathew Swoop (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Swoop pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Swoop.

Swoop tries for a kimura but Ferreria is defending well.

Swoop is looking to clinch but Ferreria is avoiding it.

Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Ferreria!

Swoop drives through with a takedown into guard.
Swoop controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Swoop stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ferreria swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Ferreria is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Swoop wants to clinch up but Ferreria keeps it at a distance.

Swoop is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Ferreria dives into side control.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Ferreria wants to control but Swoop is keeping him busy.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Swoop is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.

and Ferreria counters with a three punch combo that has Swoop backing up. Swoop nods at Ferreria to acknowledge the strikes.

Ferreria really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Ferreria enables Swoop to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Ferreria manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Swoop throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Swoop tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Ferreria paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Swoop is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Swoop. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Swoop creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Swoop pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Swoop moves in looking to clinch but Ferreria pushes him off.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ferreria lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Ferreria shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Swoop sprawls well. Swoop wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Ferreria gets slowly back to his feet.
Swoop shoots in for a double leg but Ferreria sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Ferreria swats away the attempt to clinch by Swoop.
Ferreria keeps the fight on the outside.
Ferreria takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Ferreria tries to bum rush Swoop with a series of wild strikes but Swoop uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Ferreria closes this distance looking for a takedown but Swoop circles away.

Ferreria wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Swoop takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Swoop takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Mathew Swoop hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Swoop gets the takedown into side control.

Swoop stands up and beckons Ferreria to his feet.

Swoop rushes Ferreria and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Ferreria takes an elbow to the forehead.
Ferreria tries to break the clinch but Swoop is controlling the position.
Swoop putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Ferreria in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body.

Swoop manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

Swoop has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Ferreria off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
