The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rauhanen throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Carwin fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Rauhanen is out of range.

The fight stays on the outside here - Carwin looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Carwin tries a low kick but Rauhanen avoids it.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Carwin throws a hook but Rauhanen avoids it easily.
The fight stays on the outside here - Carwin looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Rauhanen loads up on a big right hand but Carwin slips the punch.
Rauhanen fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Carwin looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Rauhanen moves out of range as Carwin throws a body kick.

Rauhanen scores with a nice strike.

Rauhanen lands a big head kick that sends Carwin tumbling to the mat! Rauhanen takes a step backwards and waves Carwin back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like FiveX Carwin has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Carwin shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Rauhanen as he jumps to the side.
Rauhanen looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Rauhanen connects with a jab.
Rauhanen checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Rauhanen takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Eetu Rauhanen is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Carwin misses with a hook. Rauhanen ducked under it nicely.

Rauhanen drops Carwin with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Carwin looks back up at him and smiles so Rauhanen waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Carwin is rocked!
Rauhanen lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Carwin circles away quickly and effectively.

Carwin feints and as Rauhanen raises his hands in defense, Carwin changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Carwin throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Carwin postures up in Rauhanen's guard and throws a big left but Rauhanen blocks it.
Carwin working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Rauhanen manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Rauhanen avoids the attempt from Carwin to control.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Rauhanen throws a solid leg kick but Carwin takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Rauhanen.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Carwin shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Rauhanen defends it nicely.
Rauhanen connects with a single shot there.

Carwin uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Rauhanen.
Carwin dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Rauhanen. That did some damage!
Carwin shoots for a takedown but Rauhanen saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
No joy there for Rauhanen, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Rauhanen here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.
Carwin fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Rauhanen checks it well.
Eetu Rauhanen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Carwin bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Carwin attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.

Eetu Rauhanen showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Rauhanen, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
