The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tree scores with a hook.
Taps takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Taps loads up on a big right hand but Tree slips the punch.
Taps shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Taps throwing strikes from guard but Tree blocks nicely.
Taps wants to pass the guard but Tree is keeping the position.
Tree keeping moving, preventing Taps from controlling successfully.
Taps postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Tree is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Taps, into his guard.
Tree would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Taps looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Taps throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Taps has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Tree should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Taps has tightened it up now! Tree should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
