Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kaden Drake!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Custio Sliva!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Drake throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Sliva's waist but Sliva gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Drake off to one side.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Drake misses with a takedown attempt - Sliva sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Drake closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Drake wants to control but Sliva is keeping him busy.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Drake is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Sliva can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Drake has control of Sliva's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Sliva regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Sliva has his foot on Drake's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Drake works his way back into a safe position though.

That was a close second round but I would say that Kaden Drake will probably get the nod.

Drake got a little sloppy there for a moment and Sliva has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Drake has managed to get both his arms back between Sliva's legs - danger averted.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Drake drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Drake jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Sliva had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Drake defends it easily.

Drake sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Sliva's guard.

Drake is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Sliva defends it well.

Custio Sliva has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Drake uses his free foot to push down on Sliva's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Sliva.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Kaden Drake.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Drake, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
