Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Killer Elite (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mason Simpson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Simpson has chosen Brickhouse as his entrance music. Killer Elite looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Elite rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Simpson moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Elite misses with a jab, cross combination.
Simpson fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

Simpson shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Simpson showed some decent athleticism there.
Elite is looking to improve his position.

Simpson is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Elite throws a strike from the bottom that misses.

Killer Elite has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mason Simpson.
Elite throws a nice looking combination but Simpson bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Simpson closes the distance and clinches up with Elite, looking for a takedown. Simpson pushes Elite against the cage but Elite circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Simpson shoots in for a double leg but Elite sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Elite throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Simpson.

Simpson darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Simpson looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Elite really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Elite lands one or two decent shots to the body here. Although from his own half guard, he's not going to be causing too much damage.

Simpson is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Elite defends it well.

Elite on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Elite tries to get out of the position.
Elite tries to roll over but Simpson keeps him under control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Simpson slips a jab and a cross from Elite.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Simpson.

Simpson has hold of Elite's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Elite tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Simpson cranks the arm and Elite screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Elite, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
