Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Takaku Fuke!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, amos yeoh!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Yuuki Gou and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fuke rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but yeoh moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
yeoh looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
yeoh tries to move into range but Fuke moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
yeoh lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Fuke circles away quickly and effectively.
Fuke throws a low kick but yeoh avoids it.
Fuke pushes yeoh up against the cage in a clinch.
yeoh tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Fuke just stands there and leans against the cage.
A frustrated look appears on yeoh's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Fuke lands a body shot in the clinch.
Fuke breaks from the clinch.
yeoh changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Fuke tries to avoid it but yeoh manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Fuke to the ground. Fuke escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Fuke has closed the distance and engaged yeoh in a clinch.
Fuke scores with a nice hook to the head.
Fuke escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Fuke lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
yeoh is rocked!
A big right followed by a crushing left from Fuke knocks yeoh out cold! Ouch - that one's going to be featured in highlight reels for years to come!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Takaku Fuke!
