Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Oliveira Gilbert (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jim Morrison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Oliveira Gilbert has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Nard Betker and Saam Ante.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gilbert tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Morrison drives through and clinches with Gilbert against the cage.

Gilbert is fighting off a takedown attempt but Morrison is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Gilbert to the mat. Gilbert regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Morrison connects with a couple of short punches.
Morrison is working Gilbert over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Morrison drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Morrison jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Gilbert wants to stand and escape but Morrison is having none of it.

Gilbert knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Morrison on the ground.

Morrison lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Gilbert down.

Gilbert is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Morrison has just dragged him back down to the mat.

Morrison is working to tighten is grip on Gilbert's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Gilbert has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Morrison is really squeezing tight and eventually Gilbert passes out! Morrison breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
