The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Elvis Blanc and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Comte Jr clobbers Schmitt with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
It looks like Willheim Schmitt has been cut.
Comte Jr lands a slapping body shot.
Schmitt lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Comte Jr circles away quickly and effectively.
Schmitt uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Comte Jr.
Comte Jr throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Schmitt counters with a nice uppercut.
Schmitt avoids the body shot from Comte Jr.
Comte Jr lands a lovely overhand right.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Left hook, right uppercut from Schmitt.
It looks like Brandon Comte Jr has been cut.
Brandon Comte Jr seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Comte Jr ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Schmitt swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Comte Jr counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Comte Jr lands a big right hand that sends Schmitt crashing to the mat! Comte Jr stays standing though and waves Schmitt back to his feet!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Comte Jr has cracked Schmitt with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Comte Jr lands another huge swinging hook and Schmitt tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Schmitt, before Comte Jr can land any more shots!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Brandon Comte Jr!
