Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between El Chihuahua (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ash Simm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chihuahua comes to the cage accompanied by Cypress Hill - Rise Up. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, El Chihuahua!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Ash Simm!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chihuahua darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Chihuahua looks to land a right hand but Simm moved out of range.
Chihuahua misses with a straight right.
Chihuahua misses with a wild body shot.
Chihuahua stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Chihuahua wants it to stay on the feet.
Simm defending well as Chihuahua loads up on a big left hand.
Chihuahua throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Simm shoots in for a double leg but Chihuahua sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Simm shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Chihuahua as he jumps to the side.
El Chihuahua has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ash Simm.
Simm will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Simm shoots in looking for a takedown. Chihuahua tries to sprawl out of it but Simm keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Chihuahua manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Chihuahua displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Simm.
Chihuahua throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Chihuahua swings for the body but Simm moves out of range.
Simm uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Chihuahua.
Chihuahua punishes Simm's body with a nice straight punch.
Chihuahua throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Simm fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Chihuahua misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Simm.
Chihuahua takes a swing at Simm's ribcage but misses.
Chihuahua moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Simm shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Chihuahua pinned against the cage. Chihuahua gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Simm closes this distance looking for a takedown but Chihuahua circles away.
A looping hook to the body misses from Chihuahua. Simm does a little dance to reset his feet.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Simm is defended easily by Chihuahua.
Chihuahua scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Simm doesn't seem bothered though.
Ash Simm seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Simm looks gassed!
Chihuahua swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Simm.
El Chihuahua is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Chihuahua smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Chihuahua looks to score with a jab to the body but Simm is just out of range.
Simm is trying hard to land a takedown here. Chihuahua sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Chihuahua fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Simm takes one to the side of the head.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Chihuahua punishes Simm's body with a nice straight punch.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Chihuahua dips to his left and cracks Simm with an uppercut!
Chihuahua throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Chihuahua connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.


It looks like Ash Simm has been cut.
Chihuahua lands a jab.
Chihuahua throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Simm fails to land the takedown.
Chihuahua scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Chihuahua slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Simm takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Simm on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Simm needs to keep his hands up - Chihuahua had a free shot at his head there.
Simm moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.


Simm is rocked!
Chihuahua fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Simm is still on wobbly legs! Can Chihuahua finish him?
Simm is trying desperately to land a takedown but Chihuahua is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Simm.
Chihuahua connects with a crisp jab.
Chihuahua cracks Simm with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Simm falls to his knees and Chihuahua doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:03 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). El Chihuahua!
