Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Long Dong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paavo Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dong comes to the ring accompanied by I'm Going In. Long Dong could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Paavo Smith's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dong throws a hook but Smith avoids it easily.
Dong fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Dong throws the kick towards the body but Smith avoids it.
Dong missing with a left hand there. Smith was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Smith keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Dong lands an overhand right.

It looks like Paavo Smith has been cut.
Smith has a takedown stuffed.
Smith shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.

Smith looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Smith is stalling here. Dong is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Smith seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Dong has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Smith seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Dong does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Smith wants to pass the guard but Dong is defending well.
Smith is thwarting Dong's attempts to control the position.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Smith is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Dong sees it coming and defends easily.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Smith shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Dong pinned against the cage. Dong gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Dong tries a head kick but it misses.
Smith looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Long Dong has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Paavo Smith.

Dong drops Smith with a straight right hand, right on the button! Dong follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
