Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alex Kid (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Crizol Dourado (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Thiago Cunha and Daniel Cesar.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Dourado.
Kid tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Dourado swivels and escapes.
Dourado fails with the takedown

and Kid counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Dourado's guard now.

Kid drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Kid jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Dourado pushes Kid off and scrambles back to his feet.
Kid stuffs the takedown attempt from Dourado. Dourado gets slowly back to his feet.
Alex Kid has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Crizol Dourado.
Dourado doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Kid counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Dourado!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Kid working for a submission but Dourado is keeping him at bay.

Kid looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.

Dourado is trying desperately to improve position.
Dourado wants to control but Kid is having none of it.
Dourado is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
Dourado looks gassed!

Kid is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Dourado has managed to escape the submission attempt.

Kid with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

Dourado has left one of his arms exposed and Kid doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Dourado screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
