Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Nathan Scott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jacques Rougeau (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Scott's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Down. Nathan Scott has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Scott shoots in but no luck this time.
Scott shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Rougeau defends it nicely.
Scott fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Nathan Scott. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Scott walks into a stiff left hand from Rougeau.
Horrible takedown by Scott or perhaps it was just good defense by Rougeau which made him look bad.

Scott lands a big right hand that sends Rougeau crashing to the mat! Scott stays standing though and waves Rougeau back to his feet!

Scott shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Rougeau napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Rougeau is rocked!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Rougeau is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
Rougeau is still in real trouble! Can Scott finish him?
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Scott is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Rougeau knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Rougeau seems to have recovered his senses.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Scott has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Rougeau!

Scott throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Rougeau has his hands clasped together but Scott breaks the hold and Rougeau is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Scott!
