Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Yuri Mcmannus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Edmond Dantes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mcmannus's entrance music is Right Now. A fine choice. This should be a great matchup!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dantes shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Mcmannus as he jumps to the side.

Dantes gets the takedown into side control.
Mcmannus manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Mcmannus regains full guard. Nicely done.
Mcmannus is trying to keep Dantes in close.
Dantes wanted to stand there but Mcmannus had control of the position.
Dantes throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dantes slips nicely into half guard.

Mcmannus kicks off Dantes and gets to his feet.

Dantes looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Mcmannus shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Dantes as he avoids it easily.

Dantes shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Mcmannus is breathing heavily.
Mcmannus is trying to stand back up but Dantes is controlling him
Dantes wants to pass to mount but Mcmannus is defending the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Dantes throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Mcmannus moves into full guard.

Mcmannus wants to stand up but Dantes is controlling him.
Dantes trying to control the position from guard on top but Mcmannus is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Dantes tries to close the distance and clinch up but Mcmannus swats him away and circles back towards the center.

and Dantes decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Mcmannus's guard.

Dantes decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Mcmannus, up you get!

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Mcmannus throws a body kick, spinning off balance

and Dantes counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Mcmannus is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Dantes tries to stand but Mcmannus is controlling from the bottom.

and Dantes counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Mcmannus lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Dantes!
Dantes is trying desperately to improve position.

Mcmannus lands a heavy elbow.
Mcmannus looking to control but Dantes is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Dantes really trying hard to get back to half guard here.

Mcmannus has control of Dantes's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Dantes regains control of the situation pretty easily.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Dantes is trying to escape the mount.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Mcmannus cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Mcmannus controlling his opponent.
Dantes reaches up to try and control the position but Mcmannus seems to have an arm triangle now! Uh oh! Dantes rolls and tries to escape and now Mcmannus has his back!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Edmond Dantes showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Mcmannus gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Dantes to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Dantes stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Mcmannus swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Dantes throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Mcmannus works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Dantes wants to stand but Mcmannus is controlling his posture from full guard.

Mcmannus has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Dantes off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

and Dantes counters with a single leg into guard. Mcmannus didn't expect that.

Mcmannus looking for a guillotine here but Dantes defends easily.
Dantes wants to stand but Mcmannus has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Mcmannus seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Dantes does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
