Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Brandt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Glen Quagmire (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ryan Brandt!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Glen Quagmire!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Chris Downing and Stewart Dunkirk.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Brandt - that will leave a mark!
Quagmire cracks Brandt with a good jab.
Quagmire dives in and grabs Brandt's left leg, looking for a takedown. Brandt pushes down on Quagmire's head and hops out.
Quagmire digs a good body shot into Brandt's ribs.
Quagmire throws a sloppy head kick and Brandt moves out of range easily.
Quagmire shoots in looking for a takedown. Brandt tries to sprawl out of it but Quagmire keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Brandt manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Brandt connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Quagmire momentarily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Brandt defending well as Quagmire loads up on a big left hand.
Quagmire lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Brandt circles away quickly and effectively.

A swing and a miss from Brandt.
Quagmire lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Quagmire lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Brandt throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Quagmire ducks right into an uppercut from Brandt.

It looks like Glen Quagmire has been cut.
Quagmire wants to land a leg kick but Brandt is out of range.
Brandt lands with a thumping leg kick.
Glen Quagmire seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Brandt keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Quagmire.
Brandt scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Brandt lands with a cross.
Quagmire tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Brandt was well out of range. Poor timing from Quagmire.
Quagmire looks gassed!
Brandt throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Brandt lands a nice hook to Quagmire's body. Quagmire takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Brandt scores with a head kick.

Brandt drops Quagmire with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Quagmire looks back up at him and smiles so Brandt waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Quagmire is rocked!
Brandt scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.

Brandt cracks Quagmire with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Brandt has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Quagmire to stand back up!
Quagmire is still on wobbly legs! Can Brandt finish him?

That has opened up Glen Quagmire's cut even more.
Brandt pushes Quagmire away with a front kick.
Quagmire seems to have recovered his senses.
A low kick from Quagmire is predictable there

and Brandt counters with a nice right hand that sends Quagmire toppling to the canvas! Quagmire scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Brandt finish him?!
Brandt is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Quagmire flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Quagmire is out cold! Brandt holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!
