And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Keijo Kynis!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kynis misses with a looping right.
Kynis stuffs the takedown attempt from Waters. Waters gets slowly back to his feet.
Waters shoots in and drives through. Kynis sprawls well.
Kynis throws a nice looking combination but Waters bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Kynis throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

Waters ducks under a wild hook from Kynis.

Waters drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Waters thows a big elbow that misses.

Waters drops back, looking for a kneebar! Kynis looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Kynis looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Kynis!

Kynis throws an overhand right that lands on Waters's shoulder, as Waters tries to avoid the shot.

Kynis really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Waters. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Waters is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Kynis is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Kynis can do anything to dispel that myth.
