Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Attila Vegh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Trey Money (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vegh's entrance music is duran duran - the wild boys. A fine choice. Money comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Triumph by Wu Tang Clan kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Trey Money will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Attila Vegh!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Trey Money!
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Shirou Masuda and Yuuki Gou.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Money gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Vegh is trying to drag Money to the mat but Money just about manages to keep his footing. He used the ropes to his advantage there.

Money tries to score a body lock takedown but Vegh shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Money is trying to maintain a safe position but Vegh gets an underhook and turns Money into the ropes.
Money tries to pull guard but Vegh holds him up against the ropes and eventually Money drops back down to his feet.
Vegh drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Money gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Vegh goes for a takedown in the clinch but Money prevents it.

Money is edging up against the ropes. He's using the ropes to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
Vegh has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Money avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Money gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Vegh regains guard.

Vegh escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Money gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Money decides to stand up, so the ref orders Vegh to his feet.
Money throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Vegh takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

It looks like Attila Vegh has been cut.

Money tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Money shoots in and bounces Vegh off the ropes to secure the takedown into guard.
Vegh has a closed guard, preventing Money from standing up.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Money scores with a one two! Vegh had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

With the fighters clinched against the ropes, Money creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Money drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Vegh changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Money fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Vegh on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Money. Money obviously looking to wear him down.
Money misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Vegh keeps the fight on the outside.
Vegh changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Money tries to avoid it but Vegh manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Money to the ground. Money escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Despite being in the dominant position, Trey Money just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Well Money has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
