Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chael Lesnar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Max Zero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Zero's choice of entrance music: José the Bronx Rican - Spittin' Narcicism. Max Zero has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Max Zero!
The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Steve Erwin and Bruno Hogan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lesnar scores with a takedown into Zero's guard.

Zero escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Lesnar gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!



Zero tries to keep at a distance but Lesnar has taken the fight into the clinch.
Zero is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Zero gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Lesnar regains guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Zero accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Lesnar is controlling Zero's position as best he can from this difficult position.

Zero is looking for a kimura but Lesnar is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Zero to get the leverage.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Lesnar is looking for a sweep. Zero is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Lesnar on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Lesnar tries to get out of the position.

Zero stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Lesnar swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Lesnar is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Lesnar is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard.

Zero is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

I think Zero has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
