Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Mike Angelo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Masakatsu Ueda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Masakatsu Ueda struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 146.4lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Masakatsu Ueda was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Masakatsu Ueda!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Wesley Smith and George Francis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ueda throws a quick inside leg kick.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Angelo.
Angelo checks the leg kick nicely there.
Angelo shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Angelo throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Ueda's waist but Ueda gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Angelo off to one side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mike Angelo. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Angelo tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Ueda swivels and escapes.
Ueda finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.

Angelo bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Ueda is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Angelo off and has taken his back!
Ueda lands a shot to the head.
Ueda throwing strikes from the back - he gets a warning from the referee for striking the back of the head but all these shots are hurting Angelo!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Ueda looking to break Angelo's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Angelo remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Ueda will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!
Ueda connects with a series of strikes and the referee is calling for Angelo to escape the position.
Oooh a big shot gets through from Ueda. Many more shots like that and the referee will have to think about stepping in!
Ueda lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Angelo covers up after that shot from Ueda.

Angelo tries to escape but Ueda has the hooks in and won't let him break free.

Ueda scores with punches and elbows.
Ueda lands an elbow to the side of the head.
I really don't envy Angelo right now.
Ueda lands a punch to the side of the head from the back.
Ueda has Angelo flattened out and is raining down punches.
Angelo tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!
Ueda postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Angelo in real trouble here! The ref calls for Angelo to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
