The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ghafoor misses with an uppercut.
Barnes avoids the head kick by Ghafoor.
Ghafoor defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Barnes.

Barnes is looking to work some ground and pound but Ghafoor has wrist control.

Barnes throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Ghafoor's waist but Ghafoor gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Barnes off to one side.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

It looks like Omar Ghafoor has been cut.
Barnes tries to move to mount but Ghafoor blocks the move with his legs.
Barnes swings around for an armbar but Ghafoor sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Barnes's guard.
Ghafoor is looking to stand up but Barnes won't let him.
Ghafoor is breathing heavily.
Barnes manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Barnes blocks a jab.
That has opened up Omar Ghafoor's cut even more.
Ghafoor tries to bum rush Barnes with a series of wild strikes but Barnes uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Barnes throws a leg kick but Ghafoor checks it.
Barnes shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Ghafoor manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Barnes has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Barnes cracks Ghafoor with a solid left hand.
Omar Ghafoor's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Omar Ghafoor's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
