PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sue Cash (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Milo Chocolate (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cash comes to the cage accompanied by A Boy Named Sue. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Ren Mimura and Shigeki Fujiwara.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Chocolate pushes Cash up against the cage in a clinch.
Chocolate tries for a takedown. No joy.
Cash tries for a takedown. No joy.
Cash goes for a takedown attempt but Chocolate pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Cash slaps away a takedown attempt from Chocolate, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Cash misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sue Cash. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Chocolate clinches up with Cash and pushes him back against the cage.
Chocolate throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Chocolate gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Cash.
Cash has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Cash breaks from the clinch.
Chocolate tries for a takedown but Cash circles away easily

and Cash counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Chocolate is wriggling around but Cash manages to pass to half guard.
Cash works his way into side control.
Cash wants to control but Chocolate is keeping him busy.

Cash thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Cash looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Chocolate is avoiding damage well.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Cash has an Americana. Chocolate didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Cash is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Cash hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
