Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Rogerio Alves (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyler Durden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Durden is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Bodies. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Durden misses with a body shot.
Alves wants to clinch.
Alves swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
The crowd cheers as Alves lands an impressive looking overhand right. Durden doesn't seem phased though.
Alves throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Durden tests Alves's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Alves throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
The fight stays on the outside here - Alves looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Alves shoots for a double leg takedown but Durden sprawls well. He's pushed Alves's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Alves just misses with a punch to the body.
Alves misses with a takedown attempt - Durden sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Alves misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Durden counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Tyler Durden seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Alves is breathing heavily.
Alves dives in and grabs Durden's left leg, looking for a takedown. Durden pushes down on Alves's head and hops out.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rogerio Alves. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Durden looks to land a combination but Alves avoids it well.
Durden fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Alves looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Durden connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.

The fighters circling - Durden throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Durden lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Alves connects with a jab.
Durden misses with a two punch combination.
Alves takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Alves moves out of range of the strikes.
Alves closes the distance looking to clinch
letting Durden counter with a right hand.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Durden, as that shot connected.
Durden feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Alves's calf.
Alves gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Durden.

Durden lands a big right hand that sends Alves crashing to the mat! Durden stays standing though and waves Alves back to his feet!

Alves is rocked!
Durden throws a shot from downtown. Alves moves away and avoids it.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Alves. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Alves tries to close the distance and clinch up but Durden swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Alves takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Oh Alves is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Durden drops Alves with a naaaaasty hook - Alves is in real trouble here! Durden dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!
