The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Walsh tries to close the distance and clinch up but oot swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Walsh defends well against a solid takedown attempt from oot.

oot wants to get back to striking at distance but Walsh won't allow it.
oot digs a right hand underneath Walsh's ribcage. Walsh let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Walsh changes levels and goes for a takedown here. oot fights it off and pushes away nicely.

and oot counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Walsh's guard now.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Let's hope that oot has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
oot's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Walsh wants to get back to his feet but oot passes into half guard.
oot lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
oot is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
oot works his foot free and advances to mount.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, oot cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
oot has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

oot cracks Walsh with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

oot postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Walsh badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of oot around the waist but oot pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! oot is the winner by TKO! oot jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera.
