Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Zack Allan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cottoneye Joe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Allan's entrance music is Party Hard. A fine choice. Joe has chosen Cottoneye Joe as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Cottoneye Joe is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Joe misses with a hook. Allan ducked under it nicely.

Joe throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Allan's waist but Allan gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Joe off to one side.
Allan throws a series of punches but Joe avoids them all with ease.

Joe is trying hard to land a takedown here. Allan sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Allan lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Joe down.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Allan wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Joe, who protects the arm well.
