Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Ivan Kurochkin and Aleksei Zolotukhin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tanner throws a nice outside leg kick.
Black looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Black has control of Tanner's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Tanner regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Black wants to finish this one by submission but Tanner is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Black.
Black jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Tanner manages to avoid the submission attempt.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Black in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.
Black is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Tanner has escaped the position, nice work there.

Tanner is not content to let Black control the position.

Black decides to stand up, so the ref orders Tanner to his feet.
Tanner ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Black shoots in for a double leg but Tanner sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Black throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Tanner's waist but Tanner gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Black off to one side.

Black tries to close the distance and clinch up but Tanner swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Black's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
Black has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Tanner finds it's way round the side to connect with Black's head.

Black has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Tanner.
Black feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Tanner bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Black's guard.
