Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between BJJ King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Dux (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Frank Dux will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
King checks a leg kick.

King drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Dux lets loose with a powerful body kick. King will feel that in the morning.

King fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Dux is out of range.

Dux gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows King to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Good leg kick by Dux there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Frank Dux showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

King shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than King was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

King's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
