The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pernambuco looks to throw the jab but bam is out of range.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Pernambuco!
bam avoids a punch combination nicely.
bam misses with a low kick.

Pernambuco misses with the combination.
Pernambuco pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
bam tries to bum rush Pernambuco with a series of wild strikes but Pernambuco uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
You can see the frustration on Pernambuco's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
bam misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

bam scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Pernambuco is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and bam can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
