Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Yoshihiro Akiyama (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Manny Barry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Barry has chosen Dropkick Murphys - "I'm Shipping Up to Boston" as his entrance music. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Yoshihiro Akiyama!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Manny Barry!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, George Francis and Daniel Franklin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Akiyama looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Barry showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Akiyama.
Akiyama lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Barry sprawling to the canvas. Akiyama follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Barry hang on?
Akiyama tries to stand but can't do so whilst Barry controls his leg.
Barry tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Akiyama has advanced to mount. Uh oh.
Akiyama sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Akiyama tries to stand up but he's trapped just for the moment.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Barry tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Akiyama controlling from the full mount.
Barry is desperately trying to improve his position but Akiyama has a good base and remains in mount.
Barry is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Akiyama get's back to his feet.
Akiyama knocks Barry to the floor with a head kick! Can he finish him!?

Barry is rocked!

It looks like Manny Barry has been cut.

Akiyama stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Barry is still on wobbly legs! Can Akiyama finish him?
Barry avoids a punch combination nicely.
Akiyama circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Barry to the canvas! Barry doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Akiyama keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
