Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carter defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Diesel.
Carter shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Diesel's guard.
Carter slips nicely into half guard.
Carter is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Diesel sees it coming and defends easily.
Carter is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Diesel is trying to control but can't.
Diesel could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Diesel is looking for a sweep. Carter is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Diesel misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Diesel tries to roll over but Carter keeps him under control.
Diesel is staying active underneath Carter, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Diesel trying to control but Carter postures up.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Diesel misses with a takedown attempt
and Carter counters with a single leg into guard. Diesel didn't expect that.
Diesel throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
Carter trying to control but Diesel is working from the bottom.
Carter passes Diesel's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Diesel has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Carter is working away from the top position though.
Carter wants to work for an arm triangle but Diesel is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Diesel wants to get back to full guard.
Carter is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Diesel is just riding it out for now. Carter eventually gives up the hold.
Carter looks gassed!
Carter stops Diesel from getting back to his feet.

Carter is trying to control the action in half guard but Diesel is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Diesel holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now.
Carter is working for a submission of some sort.
Diesel is defending against the submission attempts here by Carter.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Diesel looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.

Diesel on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Diesel tries to get out of the position.
Diesel wants to control but Carter is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Carter in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Diesel tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Carter!
