The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gasques ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Magri moves away.
Magri throws the kick towards the body but Gasques avoids it.
Gasques blocks a jab.
Gasques lands a nice hook to Magri's body. Magri takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Magri gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Gasques content to stall in guard here.
Magri keeping moving, preventing Gasques from controlling successfully.
Gasques is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Gasques postures up in Magri's guard and throws a big left but Magri blocks it.
Gasques wants to control from the top but Magri keeps moving.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Joe Gasques.
Magri throws a right and a left that Gasques avoids nicely.
A clash of legs there as Gasques blocks the low kick.

Magri takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Gasques missing with a left hand there. Magri was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Gasques walks into a straight right hand from Magri.
Gasques tries to close the distance and clinch up but Magri swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Charlie Magri is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Magri ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Magri lands a glancing blow to the side of Gasques's head.
Magri cracks Gasques with a right hand to the side of the head.

Magri misses with a body shot.
Magri tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Gasques was well out of range. Poor timing from Magri.

and Gasques counters with a series of strikes. Magri will be more careful next time no doubt.

Gasques misses with a few strikes there.
Magri dodges the punch combination from Gasques.
Gasques has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Gasques there as he acknowledges the shot.
Gasques looks gassed!
Magri throws a right hand that Gasques ducks under and follows up with a left that Gasques also avoids with ease.
Gasques swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Gasques on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Magri lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.

Magri lands with a hook. Gasques tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Gasques is still on wobbly legs! Can Magri finish him?
Gasques scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Gasques seems to have recovered his senses.
Gasques shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Magri but Magri pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Magri scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Gasques takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Charlie Magri seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Magri lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Gasques falls backwards - clearly groggy! Magri dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!
