The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slobberknocker connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Germano momentarily.

It looks like Alan Germano has been cut.
Slobberknocker looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Slobberknocker tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Slobberknocker misses with an uppercut. Germano saw that one coming.
Germano shoots in but no luck this time.
Slobberknocker fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Germano manages to avoid it.
Germano displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Slobberknocker throws out the jab.
A right-left combo lands from Slobberknocker.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Germano shoots in and bounces Slobberknocker off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Slobberknocker is on top in guard.
Germano is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Slobberknocker stands and steps away. Germano gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Slobberknocker misses with a jab, cross combination.
Germano fails with a takedown attempt.
Germano shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Slobberknocker as he jumps to the side.

Germano closes this distance looking for a takedown but Slobberknocker circles away.
Germano is breathing heavily.
Germano tries to score a power double leg takedown but Slobberknocker sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Germano somewhat.

Slobberknocker throws an overhand right that has Germano reeling! Slobberknocker follows up with more punches and Germano is out cold! This one is all over!
