Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Young Horse!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Domingo Alaverez!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Dillan Fox and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A combination from Horse does no damage.
Alaverez closes this distance looking for a takedown but Horse circles away.
Horse tries to clinch but Alaverez moves out of range.
Horse is looking to clinch.
Horse tries to close the distance and clinch up but Alaverez swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Horse lands a high kick to the side of Alaverez's head that stuns him and send him tumbling down to the canvas! Horse dives into guard, looking to finish.
Alaverez is rocked!
Horse trying to stand up but can't free himself from Alaverez's guard.
Alaverez is still in real trouble! Can Horse finish him?
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Alaverez seems to have recovered his senses.
Horse wants to stand and escape but instead Alaverez has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
Alaverez has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Horse is proving hard to escape from.
Horse wants to stand up but Alaverez is controlling him.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Horse stuffs the takedown.
Alaverez looks gassed!

Horse misses with a wild combination.
Horse throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Horse will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Alaverez throws a nice inside leg kick.
Alaverez feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Alaverez slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Horse tries to escape but Alaverez is in control.
Alaverez wants to control but Horse is keeping him busy.
Horse wants to get back to his feet.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Alaverez showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Horse.
Horse fails in his attempt to clinch.
Horse thows a leg kick but Alaverez checks it
and Alaverez counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Horse throws a front kick aimed at Alaverez's knee but Alaverez avoids it well.
Horse rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Alaverez moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Horse tries to clinch but Alaverez moves away
and Alaverez counters with a nice low kick that buckles Horse's knee momentarily.
Horse moves in looking to clinch but Alaverez pushes him off.
Horse misses with a jab, cross combination.
Horse swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Horse rushes Alaverez and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Alaverez on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Horse breaks the clinch.
A nice inside leg kick there by Horse. That's going to slow Alaverez down.
Horse takes the fight into the clinch.
Horse breaks the clinch.
Horse fails to land with a series of punches.
Horse throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Horse throws a head kick that Alaverez semi-blocks.
A combination from Horse does no damage.
Horse wants to clinch up but Alaverez keeps it at a distance.
Young Horse is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Horse tries to clinch but Alaverez moves out of range.

Horse goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Horse tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Horse stuffs the takedown.
Young Horse has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Domingo Alaverez.
Horse clinches but Alaverez breaks the clinch
and Alaverez counters with a solid body kick.
Alaverez shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Alaverez throws a sloppy head kick and Horse moves out of range easily.
Alaverez throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Horse's waist but Horse gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Alaverez off to one side.
Horse is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Alaverez connects with a body shot.
Alaverez chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Alaverez clinches up against the cage.
Horse comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
Horse landing some nice looking knees to the body.
Horse manages to break the clinch.
Horse misses with a few strikes there.
Alaverez slips a jab and a cross from Horse.
Horse moves in looking to clinch but Alaverez pushes him off.
Horse swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Horse lands with a big right hook that stumbles Alaverez - he's out on his feet here! Horse follows up with another monster hook that separates Alaverez from consciousness! Alaverez falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Horse stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Young Horse!
