The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Holden swats away the attempt to clinch by Vegard.

Holden shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Holden is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Vegard is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Vegard has escaped and now he's on top!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Holden bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Vegard's guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Holden fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Vegard, pushing him back against the cage.

Holden's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Vegard shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Holden defends it nicely.
A looping hook to the body misses from Holden. Vegard does a little dance to reset his feet.

Vegard changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Holden looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Vegard is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Holden will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
Vegard lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Holden down.

Vegard is looking to take a break and control but Holden is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
