The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Casey gets caught flat footed, as Aleksy shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Aleksy throws a big right hand that misses.

Casey scrambles and gets back to his feet.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Aleksy sneaks out the side door and pushes Casey away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.

It looks like Jamison Aleksy has been cut.

Casey manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Aleksy manages to get himself to full guard.
Matt Casey overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Casey stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Aleksy swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Aleksy really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Casey. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Casey is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Aleksy doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Casey.

That was a close second round but I would say that Matt Casey will probably get the nod.
